I like the freedom I have in Austria

“I like the freedom I have in Austria. I can do whatever I want and I do not really have boundaries.

Right now I see the Austrian culture not as a pure Austrian culture but as a multicultural environment. It doesn’t matter where you come from. Now in my university and also in the working place there are people from different countires like Serbia, Hungary, but my boss is Austrian, even though he got a name originally from Hungary. It doesn’t matter that you come from somewhere else.

I feel mostly Austrian because I grew up here but every time when I am at home I feel Bosnian. My family lives in one big house, in which four apartments belong to my family. My neighbours are my uncles, aunts, cousins and my grandparents. So in my house I have 8 different relatives and we are very connected, I can go next door and visit most of my family in one afternoon.”
